IA Talk x Jimmy Simpson
Since I know Jimmy, my understanding of what is possible in this job has expanded significantly. He is an illustrator, animator and director. Among so many other clients, he has worked for Nike, Dropbox, The New York Times and MTV (WTF ︎). He has worked in-house at Tumblr, Google, Hornet and now Cashapp, which is such a cool career option that most illustrators don’t know about. He is the person in my studio that I turn to when I don’t know how to phrase a difficult e-mail or need someone to have a look at an illustration before I send it out. I can’t wait to share his beautiful work and his insightful grasp of this industry with you!
