IA Talk x Ping Zhu
I don’t know what to tell you. Ping is one of the coolest people I know! She applies her both delicate and bold work to big advertising jobs and sensitive editorial pieces. She has worked with Google, Patagonia, This American Life, WeTransfer, The New Yorker, The New York Times and so many more! Her visual language transcends the boundaries of one medium, being sometimes digital and often analogue. She has done a lot for the illustration community by hosting events and meetups. She hosts Illustration Open Office Hours together with Jing Wei – a BIPOC-centered space to foster community and accessibility through transparency and honest conversations ︎. I am such a fan of Ping’s work! Since I know her, I have been bugging Ping for advice constantly. I can’t wait to share her insights with you and learn more about her process and experiences myself!
